  • Traffic citations must be paid at the Clerk of Courts Office, located on the 2nd floor of Lorain City Hall.

  • If your vehicle was towed or impounded, you must first obtain a vehicle release from the Lorain Police Department Record Room. You will have 10 days from the date of notification to claim. 

    Please bring:

    • Proof of vehicle registration or title

  • Yes. Residents and businesses with monitored burglar alarm systems located in the City of Lorain are required to register their alarm with the Lorain Police Department.
