Commend an Officer

The Lorain Police Department welcomes positive feedback from the community. If you would like to recognize an officer or employee for their professionalism, courtesy, or service, you may submit a commendation using one of the methods below.

Commendations are reviewed by department leadership and shared with the employee being recognized.

Mail

You may also submit a written commendation by mail. Please include as much detail as possible, such as the date, time, location, and the name or description of the officer or employee.

What Happens Next
