If your vehicle was towed or impounded, you must first obtain a vehicle release from the Lorain Police Department Record Room. You will have 10 days from the date of notification to claim.

- Proof of vehicle registration or title

Yes. Residents and businesses with monitored burglar alarm systems located in the City of Lorain are required to register their alarm with the Lorain Police Department.
