Lori Olson

Graduate of Vermilion high school class of 1980

Attended LCCC for five years majoring in early childhood education and elementary education 1988 to 1993

Worked as a chef for 30 years at several local restaurants Including The Corner, Philbo House, Mcgarvey's, Elberta Inn, Alize's, Westlake Holiday Inn, Glass Garden and Lakewood Country Club.

Opened and operated my own restaurant, Classique Cafe' from 1993 to 2003

I have been active in my church, First Congregational United Church of Christ, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I acted as thrift store manager, community meal coordinator, church caterer and Sunday School teacher.

I ran for the Charter commission to be a voice for the people of Lorain. To help make City Hall be responsive to the ideas of the citizens of this city. I also want to be a voice for the disabled, the elderly and the lower income families in our beautiful city
