Republic Waste Services Announces New Recycling Capabilities for Cartons
Republic Services announces that it has expanded its list of items that can be recycled for Lorain County customers. Republic Services will now accept plastic bottles, milk and juice cartons and even shampoo and detergent bottles. Customers in all cities, townships and villages in Lorain County can all recycle these new items.
Previously, the company only recycled No. 1 and No. 2 plastic bottles. But now, the facility can recycle No. 1 through No. 7 bottles. Republic Services recently completed a $15 million upgrade to the Lorain County Resource Recovery Facility in Oberlin. The upgrade was completed last month.
