Lorain International Festival
The 47th Annual Lorain International Festival is a celebration of culture from the "International City" with over 70 nationalities represented. A series of exciting events leads to the spectacular 3 day bazaar at Black River Landing June 28-30: Friday 5pm-11pm, Saturday noon-11pm and Sunday noon-6pm. Republic Waste Services Announces New Recycling Capabilities for Cartons
Republic Services announces that it has expanded its list of items that can be recycled for Lorain County customers. Republic Services will now accept plastic bottles, milk and juice cartons and even shampoo and detergent bottles. Customers in all cities, townships and villages in Lorain County can all recycle these new items.full story
