Reclaiming Downtown Lorain Event
With your help, the wonderful people of Lorain and Lorain County will be Reclaiming Downtown Lorain. This event will take place on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 7am to 5pm. The Charleston Village Society has partnered with the Black River Historical Society, Lorain Growth Corporation, the City of Lorain and Lorain Utilities to construct a natural walk way joining Settlers Watch at 2nd and Oberlin with the Admiral King Tribute Space at First and Hamilton. This walk way is called the Eric Barnes' Heroes Walk and will honor the servicemen from Lorain who have died fighting for their country, and city.
