COMBINED NOTICE OF FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT AND NOTICE OF INTENT TO REQUEST RELEASE OF FUNDS To All Interested Persons, Agencies, and Groups: These notices shall satisfy procedural requirements for federally assisted activities to be undertaken by the City of Lorain. REQUEST FOR RELEASE OF FUNDS On or about August 28, 2017 the City of Lorain, Building, Housing, & Planning Department will submit requests to Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the release of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME) funds under the Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 and under Title II of the Cranston-Gonzales National Affordable Housing Act as amended, to undertake a project known as: Demolition of STOVEWORKS See the attachment for more details. LifeShare Blood Drive at Lorain City Hall

The LifeShare blood drive will be Thursday, September 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Lorain City Hall located at 200 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. Hydrant Testing in the City of Lorain

The Lorain Fire Department will be testing fire hydrants throughout the City of Lorain from May 1, 2017, through October 1, 2017.  Testing will be conducted weekdays between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. full story
